Cordova Safety Products grades leather based on the area and layer of the hide from which it is cut. Premium-grade leather is sourced from the side or shoulder of the hide, areas with minimal movement, resulting in thicker and more durable material. Select-grade leather comes from areas just below premium, still offering high quality. Regular and economy-grade leather are selected from the middle and lower portions of the hide, making it thinner and more economical.

This glove is constructed of standard split cowhide, made from the inner layers of the hide after the top grain has been separated. Split cowhide is comfortable, durable, breathable, and offers excellent abrasion resistance. The glove features a red fleece lining for added warmth and comfort, ideal for colder working conditions. It also includes a shirred elastic back for a secure fit and a keystone thumb, providing the highest range of motion and comfort.
